KabareTegal – Untuk mendukung dan menyukseskan pelaksanaan PON XX yang digelar pada 2-15 Oktober 2021 mendatang Pemerintah provinsi Papua, Bidang Sosial Budaya meluncurkan Aplikasi Papua Tourism dan Gerai Honai Papua.

 

Sub. Koordinator Pameran dan Pentas Seni Budaya Provinsi Papua, Enrico Yori Kondologit mengatakan, Kedua program tersebut merupakan wujud dari hasil identifikasi dan inventarisasi potensi budaya dan objek wisata yang berada di 4 cluster PON XX Papua yaitu Kota Jayapura, Kabupaten Jayapura, Kabupaten Mimika dan Kabupaten Merauke serta termasuk 2 wilayah buffer yakni Kabupaten Biak Numfor dan Kabupaten Jayawijaya.

 

“Tujuan dari Launching Aplikasi Papua Tourism adalah untuk mengenalkan mempromosikan seluruh objek wisata yang ada di 4 cluster PON XX Papua baik itu wisata alam, wisata budaya maupun wisata sejarah dan sebagai E-Commerce penjualan produk budaya secara online,” ujar Enrico.

 

Aplikasi tersebut resmi diluncurkan oleh Ketua Panitia Besar (PB) Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) Yunus Wonda, Koordinator Sosial Budaya PB PON PAPUA XX Septinus Saa, Bendahara Umum PB PON PAPUA XX Theodorus Rumbiah, serta Perwakilan klaster penyelenggara Joko Sunaryo pada Rabu, di Hotel Horizon Ultima Entrop, Jayapura dan telah dapat didownload, melalui perangkat android maupun Ios.

 

Lebih lanjut, Enrico mejelaskan, sementara itu tujuan program Gerai Honai Papua adalah mengenalkan dan memasarkan semua hasil produk budaya dari 4 cluster PON XX Papua seperti anyaman (tas/noken), ukiran, lukisan kulit kayu, gerabah dan kuliner secara langsung di Gerai Honai Papua kepada seluruh atlet, official dan tamu undangan yang akan datang ke Papua dalam pelaksanaan PON di bulan Oktober mendatang.

 

“Diharapkan melalui Aplikasi Papua Tourism serta Gerai Honai Papua semua produk budaya yang dibuat oleh masyarakat Papua di 5 wilayah adat dan budaya yang tersebar dalam 4 zona ekologi di Papua dapat memanfaatkannya untuk menjual hasil karya mereka, sehingga dapat menjadi sumber penghasilan dan meningkatkan ekonominya selama pelaksanaan PON,” pungkas Enrico
