KabareTegal  – Rombongan Bupati Fakfak sempat dinyatakan hilang kontak saat menempuh perjalanan laut dari Kota Sorong menuju Kabupaten Fakfak, Papua Barat pada Selasa (5/10/21). Sedianya rombongan Bupati Fakfak akan kembali ke Fakfak dengan pesawat, namun karena keterbatasan penerbangan akhirnya memutuskan pulang ke Fakfak menggunakan beberapa Speedboat.

Bupati Fakfak Untung Tamsil beseta rombongan sebelumnya menuju Sorong dalam rangka ikut serta menyambut kedatangan presiden Joko Widodo. Saat hendak kembali ke Fakfak inilah rombongan Bupati Untung Tamsil dinyatakan hilang kontak.

Dengan menggunakan beberapa kapal jenis Speedboat rombongan Bupati Untung Tamsil berangkat dari Pelabuhan Sorong pada hari Selasa (5/10/21) pukul 06.30 WIT dan diperkirakan tiba di Fakfak pada pukul 18.00 WIT. Dari informasi yang dihimpun, beberapa Speedboat tiba lebih dulu di Fakfak pada pukul 18.30 WIT.

“Ada speedboat yang justru tiba duluan di Fakfak pukul 18.30 WIT. Namun rombongan bupati belum tiba, padahal mereka berangkat lebih dulu,” ujar Kepala Kantor Pencarian dan Pertolongan Basarnas Sorong Muhammad Arifin seperti dikutip dari inews.id, Rabu (6/10/2021).

Setelah adanya laporan hilang kontak dari Pemerintah Kabupaten Fakfak, Basarnas Sorong segera melakukan pencarian.

“Kami dapat informasi Selasa kemarin. Kami langsung aksi ke lapangan dengan menggerakkan 13 anggota Basarnas dan dua personel Polairud yang diperkuat dengan rubber boat 221 lalu tim bergerak menuju lokasi pencarian,” lanjut Arifin.

Bupati Fakfak Untung Tamsil beserta rombongan akhirnya bisa ditemukan setelah dapat dihubungi melalui HT. Informasi yang diterima, rombongan tersebut menepi di Pulau Pisang karena menghindari cuaca buruk dan gelombang tinggi.

“Alhamdulillah, laporan yang kami dapatkan, rombongan bupati telah tiba di Fakfak. Speedboat yang mereka tumpangi sandar di Pelabuhan Polair FakFak pukul 6.00 pagi tadi. Seluruh penumpang dilaporkan dalam kondisi selamat dan sehat walafiat,” ujar Arifin.[]
