Kabaretegal – Membintangi sebuah film tentu ada pengalaman tersendiri, apalagi film horor yang membuatnya mengalami pengalaman mistis.

Aktris senior Erna Santoso punya pengalaman mistis saat menjalani adegan ritual pesugihan dalam film horor terbarunya berjudul ‘Terikat Jalan Setan’.

Film tersebut menceritakan tentang pesugihan dan Erna pun menjalani karakter sebagai pelaku pesugihan.

“Saya tentunya totalitas banget memerankan tokoh seorang ibu yang melakukan ritual memakan bayi,” kata Erna Santoso saat acara peluncuran Poster & Trailer Film ‘Terikat Jalan Setan’ di Tujuhari Coffee, Wijaya Grand Centre, Jalan Wijaya II, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan, Sabtu (19/4/2025).

Lebih lanjut, perempuan kelahiran Surakarta, 1 September 1956 itu menerangkan, awalnya itu kan faktor ekonomi. “Dia nggak tega lihat anaknya menderita sampai memakan makanan dari sampah. Hingga suatu hari saya itu berucap siapa yang bisa nolong saya akan saya turutin semua perintahnya dan ternyata itu setan yang mendengarkannya kemudian ngasih tahu syaratnya supaya jadi kaya, “ terangnya.

Ibunda artis Ardina Rasti ini juga menceritakan selama syuting dirinya menggunakan lensa kontak yang khusus dari Jepang.

“Mata saya ini kecil ya, sampai-sampai saya itu tidur pakai softlens, sampai matanya susah melek, ini tantangannya bermain film horor. Apalagi pas adegan makan bayi itu, saya sampai mual-mual,” bebernya.

Erna juga mengatakan pesugihan tersebut dinilainya sangat mengerikan.

“Jadi ngeri ternyata ada pesugihan yang makan bayi, kita harus ngejar bayi-bayi gitu, jadi nggak bisa diputus, pesugihannya mewaris dan suruh makan janin cucunya,” paparnya.

Artis yang masih tetap mempesona di usia senja itu juga menceritakan pengalaman mistisnya selama proses syuting film ‘Terikat Jalan Setan’.

“Saya sampai kemasukan energi lain, berasa seperti ada gempa, pusing, sampai miring-miring, tahunya itu nggak gempa, kuat banget itu auranya sampai saya pingsan, apalagi hujan nggak berhenti-henti selama syuting,” kenangnya.

Diakui Erna Santoso saat ini, film horor tengah naik daun dan pada Lebaran Idulfitri tahun ini beberapa film horor pun box office.

“Saya juga berharap film ini banyak yang suka,” harapannya.

Erna mengaku senang bisa beradu akting dengan artis-artis muda lainnya.

“Alhamdulilah kita ketemu artis muda yang baik-baik dan biasanya kalau pas syuting itu kita diskusi terus, kita gembleng dan latihan terus, makanya saaya berpikiran kalau kita main bagus, terus ada yang jelek kan jadi ikutan jelek hasilnya, untuk itu kalau main bareng harus kompak,” tutur Erna penuh rasa syukur.

Erna menyampaikan pesan moral dari film ‘Terikat Jalan Setan’.

“Jadi pesan moral dalam film tersebut kita harus terus bergerak bekerja dan berkarya, jangan mau hal-hal yang instans, harus punya iman, cari kekayaan itu jangan pakai jalan pintas karena nggak berkah,” pungkas Erna Santoso.

Sementara itu, Harry Dagoe Suharyadi yang merupakan produser, sutradara, sekaligus penulis film ‘Terikat Jalan Setan’ ini mengatakan film tersebut merupakan eksplorasi mendalam pengalaman pribadinya sejak tahun 1979 hingga dewasa, tentang keberadaan ilmu hitam, iblis, dan setan yang masih nyata di tengah masyarakat modern.

“Film ini lahir dari kegelisahan saya melihat masyarakat hidup dalam kemajuan tetapi tak berdaya menghadapi tekanan hidup. Banyak orang akhirnya mengambil jalan pintas lewat dunia mistis, tekanan yang bahkan terasa lebih menghimpit dibanding masa penjajahan dulu,” jelas Harry Dagoe

Film ini menghadirkan tiga cerita horor yang terjalin dalam satu kisah utama, secara autentik menggambarkan okultisme lokal Indonesia, terutama Jawa.

Harry Dagoe ingin menakuti penonton dengan pendekatan yang unik.

Ia dengan tegas menolak gaya horor Barat yang sering hanya mengejar sensasi visual tanpa kedalaman psikologis dan budaya.

“Memindahkan okultisme lokal ke layar lebar dengan gaya Barat seperti ‘pemerkosaan’ budaya bagi saya,” jelas Harry Dagoe.

“Saya sangat hati-hati dan fokus dalam menyatukan skrip, visual, dan montage agar mampu menghadirkan atmosfer mistis lokal secara sinematik, memberikan dampak emosional mendalam yang bertahan lama setelah penonton meninggalkan bioskop,” sambungnya.

Sedangkan, aktor utama dalam film tersebut, Yama Carlos (Bismo) menuturkan pengalamannya selama syuting.

“Mas Harry Dagoe itu gila kalau membuat film. Selama 25 tahun saya berkarya sebagai aktor, baru kali ini distutradarai dengan perspektif pengadeganan yang sangat unik, yang belum pernah saya alami sebelumnya. Beliau membuat kami benar-benar larut dalam peristiwa fiktif yang terasa nyata, baik cinta, kemarahan, hingga kehadiran sosok gaib di depan kami,” ucap Yama carlos.

Adapun, Pengamat film senior Yan Wijaya berkomentar saat mengunjungi lokasi syuting film tersebut di Papandayan, Garut, Jawa Barat.

“Selain beberapa adegan ikonik, Harry Dagoe juga menghadirkan satu shot khusus sebagai penghormatan bagi sutradara maestro dunia, yang merupakan panutannya. Ini seperti kode cinta bagi para pencinta film,” ucap Yan Wijaya.
