Ini Alasan Jalingkut Brebes-Tegal Tak Kunjung Dibuka

KabareTegal, Komisi III DPRD Kota Tegal meminta keterangan pada pihak Bina Marga Jawa Tengah terkait belum dioperasionalkannya Jalan Lingkar Utara (Jalingkut). Anggota Komisi III Sutari mempertanyakan hal tersebut karena jalan nasional sepanjang 17 km yang menghubungkan Kabupaten Brebes dan Kota Tegal tersebut tak kunjung dibuka sejak selesai dikerjakan pada bulan April lalu.

“Kami berharap jalan tersebut segera difungsikan,” ujar Sutari pada rapat bersama pihak Bina Marga Jawa Tengah dan Dinas PUPR Kota Tegal, Senin (11/10/21).

Menjawab pertanyaan DPRD Kota Tegal tersebut, Staff PPPK Bina Marga Jawa Tengah Dwi Denny menyampaikan alasan belum dibukanya jalan lingkar yang menelan dana APBN Rp223 miliar tersebut.

“Jalingkut belum bisa dibuka karena uji layak fungsi belum dilakukan, yang sudah dilakukan baru uji keselamatan. Kemudian alat pemberi isyarat lalu lintas di tiga titik juga belum ada,” ungkap Denny.

Denny menambahkan bahwa ditundanya pembukaan Jalingkut sudah disepakati pada Forum Lalu Lintas yang yang digelar pada 18 Agustus 2021 yang lalu. Dalam forum tersebut pihak Polres, Dinas Perhubungan, dan pihak PUPR mengambil kesepakatan bahwa jalan lingkar dari Klampok Brebes hinga pertigaan TPS Kota Tegal belum boleh dibuka karena belum adanya uji layak fungsi.

“Kami sudah mengirimkan surat kepada Dirjen Perhubungan Darat untuk memnuhi alat pemberi isyarat lalu lintas yang belum ada,” lanjut Denny.

Pembangunan jalan lingkar penghubung kabupaten Brebes dan kota Tegal sepanjang 17 km ini diketahui sudah dikerjakan dalam 2 tahap. Tahap I dikerjakan tahun 2017 sepanjang 2,5 km, kemudian dilanjut Tahap II sepanjang 14,5 km pada tahun 2019.[]
